Loveyush Nursing Scarf Review

Reviewed by Ann Durrell
I am a first time mum to a 7 week old and was quite nervous about breastfeeding in public so was keen to try out the Loveyush nursing scarf. Made from 100% cotton, the scarf is designed like a poncho, you just slip it over your head and feed baby underneath and it gives you full coverage all around. As it is cotton, it’s really lightweight and breathable and the design means that you can keep eye contact with baby whilst you are feeding. The quality is great, the cotton feels really soft and there are a variety of designs available, I chose Sloane (available in black or blue) which is also reversible so even better value! If you follow the QR code on the packaging there is even a 2 minute video which has a demonstration of the different ways to wear it as a fashion scarf and which is a really nice touch. Not only can it be used as a nursing scarf but can also double as a handy sunshade for your car seat or pram.
It came in a plastic bag which I will be using to keep it in my changing bag, inside there were details on all the uses for the scarf and also a note about the company. Loveyush scarves are made ethically and sustainably, each is handmade by freelance artisans who are paid fairly. The company makes donations from purchases/profits to two baby charities, Bliss and RAMBAN. It is nice to know that a company is striving to produce quality products and in an ethical manner. Knowing that your purchase is also supporting charities is also a nice touch.
I have been really pleased with my Loveyush Scarf and have recommended it to my friend who is expecting. I think it is great quality and I am sure to be getting a lot of use out of it, I wish I had one sooner.
