What can I say? Wow! A stunning venue both inside with beautiful decor, a warm and welcoming feel with comfortable seating and outside with its well looked after garden… Situated close to Wilmslow centre, it’s easy to commute to with onsite parking or many alternative ways of transport nearby.
Once myself and my partner arrived we were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to our candle lit table which was situated in a very romantic corner overlooking the beautiful garden. Our waitress Helen was very professional, made us feel welcome, friendly and constantly had a smile on her face.
The food was absolutely delicious and was served at the right temperature not to cold or not to hot.
I started with steak which was served as asked and came with a choice of sauces, tomato, fried battered onions and a bucket of chips. For desert I had a lemon meringue, cream and berries… all was very tasty! My partner went for the full rack of ribs with a bucket of chips which was also cooked to how he likes it and to finish off with a mouth-watering chocolate brownie cake, ice-cream and fresh strawberries. The presentation of the main and desert was A+ and our drinks arrived as ordered.
Despite the restaurant being reasonably busy for a Wednesday evening we were quite surprised to find not only our waitress Helen making time to carry out check backs as per her role but other members of the staff also carried out checks to make sure everything was ok with our meal and asked whether they could get us anything else, which was really nice as this made us feel valued.
We really enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely return again and we would recommend to anyone… Thank you again for a lovely evening.
