SEALIFE Blackpool Review

My year old twin boys are fascinated with fish so I jumped at the chance to take them to SEALIFE in Blackpool. We were greeted by a helpful and friendly member of staff on the front desk. We then took the lift upstairs to begin our adventure.

One of my twins was asleep when we started going around the various tanks, but the other watched with a smile on his face. He was very noisy in his objections to mummy walking away from the various creatures when he still wanted to look at them. The older children in our party loved reading all the information about the various creatures on display. The touch screens with species info are a fantastic idea.

The attraction is well laid out and we found our way around easily. All of the staff we came across could not be more helpful. Highlights of the visit was sitting on benches watching the sharks swim in front of us, walking through a tunnel with sharks to the side and above us and watching the turtles. Both twins were awake chatting excitedly when they saw the turtles. Staff were helpful in pointing out the quicker route to the toilet facilities, so useful when you are there with small children.  The facilities were clean and tidy.

We cannot wait to go back and visit the other attractions on our Blackpool Tower Big Ticket (see www.theblackpooltower.com/tickets-and-offers/the-big-ticket.aspx for more details – 7 attractions, 1 price). Merlin’s annual passes are well worth thinking about too (see www.visitsealife.com/blackpool/buy-tickets/merlin-annual-pass.aspx for more information).

Lots of fun, value for money and very helpful staff. Highly recommended.
