The cover to this 63 track, 3 disc CD has the usual ‘NOW’ trademarks so it instantly looks familiar. The text is written in gold and surrounding that are streamers, glitter and cocktail glasses which really make it look like a party CD.

CD1 has songs that range from the very recent (All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor and Happy by Pharrell Williams) to songs that are now a few years old (Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO and Domino by Jessie J). All of the tracks are upbeat, fun songs that would go down well at a party.

CD2’s songs feature fewer very recent tracks but still in keeping with the party theme with songs such as Get The Party Started by Pink, Rock DJ by Robbie Williams and Dance With Me Tonight by Olly Murs.

CD3 brings old skool classic party songs such as Saturday Night by Whigfield, YMCA by the Village People and Blame it on the Boogie by The Jacksons. Quite a few of the songs on this CD are ‘action’ songs that everyone will know the moves to… a must at every party!

There’s no denying that this CD is packed full of lively songs but I’m not quite sure who the CD is aimed at. I wouldn’t have thought many of the songs would carry enough ‘credibility’ for a teenager’s party nor would the range of songs be suitable for a child’s party. It would be ok for an adult’s party but it might have worked better if each CD were more defined in its range of songs. It feels like an odd mix of songs to me.
