I picked this outfit as it looked so cute but smart without looking overly restrictive.
The all-in-one is lovely and soft and looks adorable on my little boy. It is a generous fit around the waist and nappy area which is easily accessible with studs at the bottom. The buttons at the top are a bit fiddly however as the material is stretchy it wasn’t too much of a problem and I only had to take one side out.
The body suit was soft with a lovely little collar with a cute car motif on it although this tended to stick up when worn which irritated my little lad. The fit wasn’t as generous as the dungarees and I felt the neck on the long sleeved vest was a bit on the tight side with no stretch. There were 2 studs at the back of the neck which were definitely required to be open when putting on but I felt were a bit awkwardly placed as they were quite deep studs so more likely to dig into my baby’s skin. The vest itself wasn’t overly stretchy either and looked a bit bunched up on my little ones arms.
Both items together looked lovely and smart on my son but I felt paranoid that he was going to be uncomfortable with the neck studs on the vest.
The outfit was priced reasonably and is lovely for either a casual or smart event.
