Wild Pharmacy Clear And Glowing Gentle Face Cleanser Review

Over the years I’ve endeavoured to simplify my skincare routine, having been through years of searching for the right products that will be kind to my skin and achieve a beamish -free look that I’ve longed for. So I don’t usually try out new products as I know what works for me and I don’t want to set myself back as the balance can be easily tipped. However, from looking through the website, I learnt that the Wild Pharmacy brand stand for everything I want for my skin. They use only natural ingredients taken from nature. Not a comedogenic (pore blocking) additive in sight.

So I switched from my usual natural soap product to using the facial cleanser in the shower as part of my daily routine. The directions were straightforward and as expected for a facial cleanser; dampen skin, massage into face and wash off. The cleanser itself is a lovely milky colour with a thick texture. The scent is subtle and very pleasant and not too overpowering, although it was hard to pinpoint any signature smell. I followed the instructions and found that my skin felt instantly soft. It was very different from my usual natural soap bar, which leaves me with a squeaky clean feeling but this obviously left some natural oils still present. However, after a couple of days I got used to this and actually quite looked forward to using it.

The real test for me though is how my skin reacts in the longer-term. I’ve been really pleased with how my skin has remained clear and maybe even a little softer than normal; almost as if it’s also been moisturised. It definitely feels nourished rather than just cleaned, having accomplished it in a much more gentle way, as it promises on the bottle. I love the design of the bottle as well. It’s simple and has a lovely quote on the front from a Beatles song. It’s very understated with a stamp showing that it’s been made from safe ingredients.

From the website I can see that there is more available in the range including a toner, a facemask and a moisturiser. You can even order samples for free!

The Face Cleanser can be purchased from the Wild Pharmacy website.  It retails at £21 for a 150ml bottle. This is slightly more than I would usually pay for a bottle of cleanser but I can see that this will last for quite some time, given the small amount that you need to use each time. In addition, there is no value you can put on products that help to balance out your skin and achieve a healthy, clear and glowing look, which I can testify that this product absolutely does!

So if you’ve battled like me to achieve clear skin, or if you want to maintain balance long-term then this product is a definite must-have in your bathroom. Alternatively, I think it would make an ideal gift for someone especially for younger people who are still in the search for the holy grail of skincare and a great way to introduce them to natural skins-friendly products. I give it a 5/5 and would recommend this to anyone who loves to nourish their skin.
