Manchester Central Arena Travelodge is a 200-room hotel which is a stone’s throw from the famous Manchester Arena. It has been built on the former site of the old Boddingtons Brewery. It represents a £9.9 million investment in the city and has created 32 new jobs within the community.

Richard McClean, Manchester Central Arena Travelodge Hotel Manger said: “To celebrate, being the closet hotel to the famous Manchester Arena I thought it would be quite fitting to play homage to the great musical talent from the city and name each wing in the hotel after the nation’s favourite Mancunianmusical legend. Manchester has always punched above its weight musically and it’s great to see the nation has voted for musical talent across each of the decades since the 60’s.

We have received a very positive response from customers regarding our Mancunian  music legends floor names. Customers when checking-in are asking for rooms on their favourite musicians floor. It’s a great conversation starter.”
