Who does not love a bunch of flowers or even better; a house plant? I personally love a house plant, unlike a bunch or bouquet of flowers, if looked after, they do not end up dying and being thrown away. House plants add joy and colour to any home.

With Christmas just round the corner, I could not wait to receive the Red Rose in a Santa Pot house plant. Every year, I usually get a poinsettia which sits in between a photograph of my two late Nans. It is my way of having them with with. Although, when asked to review the Red Rose In Santa Pot, I decided to remember them with this plant.

The leaves are a beautiful, deep dark green and very rich in colour an the shine on them is amazing.

When I received the plant, one flower had barely and there was 1 bud. 5 days later, the flower had opened completely and the bud was starting to show its petals. 2 days later, 2 other buds started to show. I was getting really excited and could not wait for more buds to show and come into bloom.

The rose, when fully open and even when partially open from bud, smells delightful. It is not over powering or strong but stable and delicate.

The Santa pot is a a brilliant idea. Based on Santa’s suit, in comes in a lined flower pot. The outside of the pot is a red velvet with a black belt and gold buckle with a snowy white rim on the top of it. This is the first Christmas flower pot I have seen and I love it.

There is a lovely envelope that comes with the delivery. Inside there is a ‘Your Care Guide’ booklet. Inside, it explains how to look after and care for your plant. Really great and helpful if you are not sure what to do.

There is a lovely booklet that tells you about Bunches and how their story started. I love this, it is a family run business and I love to support these kind of business as opposed to the big supermarket chain stores.

I also received a lovely packed of Poppy seeds. This is extra special to me as it remembers and reminds me of all those that have and still suffer as a result of war. I’ll be scattering them in the small field that sits behind my garden.

Last but not least, there was a voucher for 25% off an order if placed by 20th December 2022 (excludes usage on their subscription gifts).

I will definitely be using this. Bunches quality is second to none.
