Having been a massive fan of Flavia Cacace and Vincent Simone since their debut on “Strictly Come Dancing”, I was over the moon when I found out I will be seeing them live on stage. I could hardly wait until the opening night and if you happen to be in Glasgow between Tuesday, 1st and Saturday, 5th of December you are in for a magical and unforgettable night!

Flavia and Vincent are tango world champions and Argentine Tango Show champions, and they are also World’s Ten Dance and Show Dance finalists for a number of consecutive years. So as you can imagine, the standard of their dancing is very high! They both are so light on their feet, and it feels they barely touch the floor when they dance. It’s like watching two butterflies flutter across the stage and before you know it your whole body and your legs are tuning in to the amazing songs of the show! If there were more room at the theatre, I think the majority of the audience would have joined in in every dance. And to top it all, Flavia and Vincent show different sides to their talent: ballroom, Latin and even flamenco! I knew I was in for a dance treat with Flavia and Vincent, however I did not expect at all to hear an amazing singer Matthew Gent, who for me, is on par with the likes of Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble!

The story of “The Last Tango” is a very sweet and touching love story, told by an older gentleman through his memory flashbacks. The first encounter, first date, first kiss, the happy life together and then… the sudden last good-bye, the last tango.

Amazing choice of music, out of this world dancing and superb vocals, all of this created a magical fairytale, very suited for this festive time of the year! Before I knew it, it was time to applaud the talented people for all their hard work during the show. And I wished the show would just go on, and on, and on!

Highly recommend. A definite must see!
