On Saturday night we were at the Waterside Theatre in Aylesbury to see The Illegal Eagles, a tribute band for The Eagles bringing classics such as Hotel California, Witchy Woman, Take It to the Limit and many more.

The band that offers the common man the ability to see a global band and experience the Eagles without the price tag. With a clear knowledge, passion and understanding of The Eagles this tribute band totally captures the pure spirit and essence of a band that encapsulates the spirit and soul of the U.S. The sympathetic love of the music is clear, the lead guitarist introduces you and takes you through a journey and history of an iconic band that has developed the sound and heart of America. With a clear understanding of the contributions of Don Henley and Glenn Fry, the Illegal Eagles give you a true and authentic show of the true passion of the genre. I can’t help feel the talents from all the band – from each of them came a sense of passion and true understanding – they knew the music and in every instance the story behind each song & the importance it made on the music scene.

The band knew the songs, they know because they clearly loved the music. The vocals, guitars, drums and piano all were in harmony and without question WANED to play this musical slice of history. These guys were INCREDIBLE!!

If you love The Eagles or just a music fan then this is a show to see!
