The Diggers and Trucks Colouring Book Review

Reviewed by Nicola Flynn
The first thing that struck me about the colouring book (before the kids wrenched it out of my hands and started fighting over who coloured it first) was how bright, colourful and inviting the cover was. The bright orange colour with bold contrasting white text is really appealing and really stands out. You’d think there would be a limit to how many ways you could draw a digger or truck but this colouring book manages to capture really fun and creative ways to make each picture different and fun. Both kids (boy aged 3, girl aged 5) loved the trucks transporting mega pants and pineapples – it really appealed to their sense of humour! Every page has something interesting to talk about and results in a smile!
Finally the size of this book is fantastic. Normally an A4 size book is difficult to fit into a pre-schoolers back pack. This fun filled little package is in between A4 and A5 fitting perfectly into the Thomas back pack! I will definitely look out for others in the range: The boys colouring book! The brilliant boys and amazing colouring book.
I would rate it 5 out of 5 for look, content and suitability for age 3-8 years.
