I was delighted to get the opportunity to review The Big Reunion Boy Band Tour at the Phones 4U Arena is Manchester last night as I still remember most of their songs from growing up. We opted to travel into Manchester City centre by car and found the arena official car park very easily. Event parking cost a reasonable £12, which is to be expected in a city centre car park. We collected our tickets from the helpful box office staff and headed excitedly into the arena, where we got drinks and snacks and popped to the clean and spacious toilet facilities.

The drinks and snacks were priced as expected for at an arena. There was also plenty of merchandise of the featured bands available to buy. My friend bought a lovely sparkly pink hat to wear during the show.

The arena was packed out with people of varying ages and the atmosphere was phenomenal. We were absolutely spoilt for choice with regards boy bands. Videos came up on screen before each act came to the stage. This was a lovely touch as you felt like you were getting to know them better. The female dancers were fantastic, adapting perfectly to each and every act and their outfits were simply stunning. All of the acts were great at engaging the crowd, asking fans to get their phones out and light up the arena at times. People were up on their feet singing and dancing. The lighting effects were out of this world. My favourite effects were the fireworks on stage.

The bands we got to see were:
5th story – a band put together for The Big Reunion
911
A1
3T
Damage
Blue
Five

I loved the whole show, especially when all the acts came on stage for the big finale and sang Spirit in the Sky. My personal favourite acts of the evening were 911, Five and Blue because I knew more of their songs than the other bands. It was the perfect evening to spend with friends and bringing back memories.

If you love boy bands you will love this show, the performances are all excellent and definitely worth seeing.
