Splitster Review
Splitster

I recently received Splitster – an extreme 360° tumbling and spinning action remote control stunt car. On taking it out of the box I wasn’t too impressed, it was just a plain looking thing with transparent plastic wheels, but when I switched it on there was a big transformation. All the wheels and part of the body lit up with very bright flashing colours, blues, reds, greens and orange. I couldn’t wait to see what it could do.
The remote control has two sticks for movement and once I pushed the Splitster went off like a rocket (it is extremely fast, on carpet and smooth surfaces). It took me a while to master the controls but I soon had the Splitster spinning in circles, tumbling over and racing around the house with all its lights flashing and changing.
Overall, the Splitster is a fantastic remote control toy and beats, in my opinion anyway, other remote control cars due to its hinged body and large wheels that allow the spins, tumbles and tricks. The flashing lights are great but even better in a darkened room. I have banged into walls, chairs and tumbled off steps and there is no sign of damage to the Splitster.
You will drain the battery in the Splitster in about a day (depending on usage) but it has a rechargeable battery and a power adapter is supplied for easy charging. The battery in the remote control is not a rechargeable one but this didn’t drain that quickly.
The Splitster is a fantastic remote control stunt car and will give you lots of fun. It would make an ideal Christmas present for your kids but don’t let Dad’s near it or the kids will only get it back when the batteries go flat. Great for the big (Dad) and little kids in your family.
Highly recommended and with a RRP of £24.99 this is great value for money.
