I was really looking forward to this double CD, NOW That’s What I Call Musicals, arriving in the post and I must say I wasn’t disappointed at all. There are some fabulous songs from a variety of Broadway and London musicals. 38 songs in fact to keep you entertained.
It’s truly magical I danced around the room singing and re-living each and every scene. Idina Menzel sings Let It Go (Frozen), Tomorrow (Annie) and the fabulous Defying Gravity (Wicked). Alfie Boe Bring it Home, Susan Boyle I Dreamed a Dream from the hit musical (Les Miserables). It features many more West End/ Broadway singers including, Elaine Paige, Michael Ball, Michael Crawford and Connie Fisher, too many to list.
Once again the team at Now That’s What I Call… have surpassed themselves with this outstanding CD that can be enjoyed by both young and old listeners.
It gets 5/5 rating from me and would make an ideal Christmas gift.
