POPTASTIC!
Well I think I’m in love……. with popcorn!
We have always had popcorn at the cinema as a treat and it’s always enjoyable but it’s just popcorn, nothing special, not very exciting. So when we had the chance to try this popcorn with such interesting sounding flavours I jumped at the chance.
From the first bite we were hooked! I’m a fan of cinnamon so the ‘Sweet Cinnamon Spice’ was the first bag to be opened. Just gorgeous, the cinnamon flavour is subtle, not too overpowering but still gives a real zing of flavour. Once the ‘Chilli and Lime’ had been ripped open it soon became our favourite. Chilli and Lime? I hear you saying! In a popcorn?! But it has to be tried to be believed, it’s truly amazing, with a spicy kick that only becomes apparent after a minute or two. The ‘Salty Sweet’ was left till last, partly as we thought it may be the least enjoyable if I’m honest, I guess because it sounds like cinema popcorn. And also partly as I was struggling to figure out how it could be salty and sweet at the same time as it sounds like a contradiction in terms. But one bite and ‘wow!’ This is amazing stuff, both salty and sweet (yes, really!) it’s a real treat for your taste buds.
We are now spending all our spare time hunting it down in the shops and hoping that this popcorn brand becomes more widely available in the very near future as it is truly delicious.
