Minivino Review

I was very happy to be asked to review Minivino and was sent three “glasses” of Minivino in Rose, White and Red to try.
Minivino is single serve wine which comes in really handy plastic glasses that hold 18.75cl each (so the equivalent of a small glass of wine). These will be perfect for picnics, parties or for going to events where glass is not allowed, and I am already planning on buying some of these for summer picnics.
I was really impressed with the quality of the Minivino glasses as they are made of sturdy plastic, they look really good and were very easy to drink from and comfortable to hold. The wine is double sealed when it arrives, so you know that it is fresh and hasn’t been tampered with and also won’t leak in your bag. There is also a plastic lid which makes the glass resealable which is perfect for when you are out and about so that spillages are less likely to happen and if you don’t want to drink the wine all at once you can save some for later. You would also be able to reuse the glasses at another date if you wanted to – although I didn’t try to refill them myself but was reassured that they are fully recyclable so popped the empties in our green bin.
Minivino comes in three varieties of Italian wine and I was lucky enough to get to try all three. The white wine is a Chardonnay which was really nice and easy to drink. The Rose was also very nice and I have it on authority from my partner (who is the red wine drinker in the household) that the Merlot was also very pleasant.
From a bit of research, I can see that the Minivino can be bought from Sainsbury’s, Amazon and Ocado, when I looked Ocado they had the Minivino on offer for 2 for £4 which is really great value and I fully intend on stocking up on these.
I was really impressed with the Minivino and felt they were a much higher quality than other ready to drink wine I’ve had in the past. I would definitely recommend these.
