Rainbow High Swim and Style Doll (Skyler Bradshaw) and Rainbow High Junior High PJ Party (Bella Parker) dolls. Having had three boys and one girl myself, I find myself as a Nanny with three boy grandchildren and girl who is four going on fourteen. Anything pink and girly is a must, no boy toys for our little princess.

There is such a variety of dolls on the market it’s hard to know what’s best to choose. When I was asked to review two dolls from the Rainbow High range, I was delighted, as with just one look I knew they would be a popular gift with our four year old princess. These dolls are based on an animated series that can be watched on You Tube or Netflix, Rainbow High Dolls.

The dolls are well packaged, and great as a gift as they come in a super rainbow colourful boxes, with a display window so you can see the doll inside along with the accessories. These particular dolls are aimed at age four years plus, and I would say that is spot on. Some of the accessories would be too small for anyone any younger. My granddaughter helped me open the box and her first impressions were squeals of delight, Bella Parker is kitted out in a lovely soft pink onesie, with beautiful (my granddaughters words) hair. She has a variety of accessories. The cucumber face mask was her absolute favourite and she was fascinated that this was to go over the dolls eyes, so much so she had to experiment herself! This was her first kind of grown up doll, and she was beyond excited to take the slippers on and off, along with a head band and assortment of play beauty products and a matching pink comb for her hair. There was also a little sticker set.

Skyler Bradshaw is a swim and style doll, and all her accessories are blue. She was still very well received, no less because of matching shimmering wrap that goes with Skyler’s swimsuit. She also has blue sunglasses and stylish slip on blue shoes. She also has the luscious locks in a variety of blues. She looks amazing even if I do say so myself.

Both dolls are 11 inch (27cm) high and very well made. They seem very durable and will no doubt provide hours and hours of fun. The accessories are such that the dolls can be styles in a variety of ways. She especially loved them for their bright colours and being able to watch them on her iPad, well that was her happy for the rest of the day, nanny day care had never been so easy. The downside for us is there is a huge variety of dolls in this range and if our little princess finds that out I can see we will have to buy the collection.

We as in the royal we were delighted and I am quite sure Santa may have a few extra dolls from the range in his sack this Christmas!
