St. Moriz Glow Proud Gift Set Review

I was so pleased to be asked to review this gift set. My teenage daughter had given me a few pointers of presents she would like for Christmas this year, such as, cosmetics and toiletries, with self-tan being one on the list. However, with no further details I had been aimlessly searching the store shelves, but none jumped out at me to buy. So, this set solved my dilemma, not only is it packaged as a gift, but it also combines several products that add to the overall affect, making it more than an everyday item you may buy for yourself and turning it into a luxurious treat.
The product arrived in a bubble wrapped bag, which kept it secure in the postal system. The outer cardboard is minimal and easily recycled so no unnecessary waste. It features a good quality image of the set’s contents and a detailed list. The set contains; ST. MORIZ Advanced colour correcting tanning mouse medium 200ml, nude shimmer lip gloss 2.4ml, liquid highlighter 2.4ml and both a tanning mitt and a velvet face tanning mitt.

Also included in the gift set is a very nice, lined toiletry bag, which is the perfect size to hold its contents. Its colour is a pastel pink with a delicate shimmer, the ST. MORIZ logo is subtly embossed on the front and a contrasting gold zip will keep the products secure, finally a piece of trim of the same material is tied to the zipper for ease of opening finished with a gold decorative stud. What I really like about the toiletry bag is its size, perfect for holding a few full-sized items ideal for an overnight stay, all to often I find these kinds of bags are either too big or too small to be practical but this one is just right.

The main item in the set is the ST. MORIZ Advanced colour correcting tanning mouse medium 200ml, it is a full-sized bottle and has ‘How to apply’ information and its ingredients listed on the bottle.

The tanning mitt set comes individually wrapped it feels nice and cushioned, the information tells me it has been created with a ‘water resistant barrier’ to prevent staining your hands when applying to the body. The velvet face tanning mitt is also intended to be used when applying to trickier areas of the body such as the hands and feet.
The other two items included in the gift set are to add that little bit of luxury, the shimmer lip gloss is easy to apply, moisturises the lips and gives a nice glow, it has a delicate smell – maybe of vanilla? The liquid highlighter will be ideal for the party season, it is wet when firsts applied but after a few moments it dries to stay in place until you intend to remove it, it has a lovely golden shimmer. My only small criticism is these two bottles are an identical shape and until opened you couldn’t tell them apart, but apart from that, I think this giftset is perfect for anyone who likes to ‘glow up’. Overall, a great value gift or even a little treat for yourself.
