I loved receiving my coasters and birthday card from Sarah Westwood – the illustrations are fantastic and I could pick the personality it suited. These make adorable gifts for any person but I particularly love the dog illustrations and have many friends and family who would appreciate these as a gift for any occasion. The coasters are 9 x 9 centimetres and have a cork backing which prevents the coaster – and there by any glass it would be supporting – from slipping on wet surfaces.

As mentioned before, the selection of illustrations is plentiful and the items available would allow you to find something you would love with one of these gorgeous images adorning it. Prices for the coasters start from £4.00 each and can be purchase from www.sarahwestwood.co.uk. The two coasters I received was the “Every Snack You Make” coaster www.sarahwestwood.co.uk/lovemyshop/p/every-snack-coaster which I knew would be a hit with my husband as our dog (the one he wanted nothing to do with when I bought and now is his baby), will stare holes into him while he cooks at night and she gets her own roast dinner every weekend so it was a coaster that I knew he would love. The other coaster was a smash hit with the hubby too as “The Dogs Not Allowed on the Sofa”. When the dog joined the family, she was to sleep downstairs in the kitchen which changed to the lounge sofa, to the foot of the bed and now sleeps inside my duvet, at our feet! Both these coasters are available in placemats and prints.

Before I received these products to review, I didn’t know much about the artist herself and found that she specialises in creating whimsical and charming artwork featuring Sprocket The Dog. Every coaster that leaves the studio has been heat-pressed by the illustrator in her adorable studio in Great Fryup Dale. She has a huge amount of coasters to choose from in the shop, so there’s plenty of choice. Heat-pressing is a part of the process the illustrator really enjoys, she loves bringing her work to life. Very important to note that all orders are packaged by the people in the studio and they aim to process orders within 1-2 days but advises to allow up to 3-5 days to receive your print although most will arrive sooner. They also ship worldwide and although most orders land within two weeks of dispatch but at the moment it can randomly take up to four weeks.

I also had the pleasure of receiving the Happy Birthday Mushroom Card greeting card and immediately knew who I was going to be using it for. The illustrations are colourful and perfectly drawn and again, a range of options available to be able to choose the perfect picture for your special person.

Prices for greeting cards start at £3.00 and can be purchased from www.sarahwestwood.co.uk
This artist also offers a gift card option which would make another lovely gift for a person to peruse the website on their own and choose their own favourite designs.
