Football-themed actives and games are a very popular with children, family and friends, however, trying to find one that delivers entertainment that’s long lasting and keeps you engaged isn’t aways easy. To find out which products offered the best overall experience, I recently tested two very different football-themed products; the Fanzone Football Trivia Game and the Strikesphere Soccer Dash.
Both products are designed for those that love football, but each offer completely different experience. The Fanzone Football Trivia Game is about football knowledge, friendly competition and social interaction, whereas the Strikesphere Soccer Dash incorporates physical activity, reactions and football skill.

The Fanzone Football Trivia Game made a fantastic first impression. The presentation of the game and football-focused design is bright and bold and straight away, created excitement and encouraged everyone to get involved. Set-up was very quick and easy which allowed to so start playing within minutes.
The game is particular enjoyable due to its five themed categories. They provide a graded range of football questions, making the game suitable for all ages and different levels of football knowledge. The gameplay is fast-paced and with the true or false format combined with the sound effects, it generates a fun and lively atmosphere with much laughter and giggles with friendly competition.
During the time of testing this game, it proved with be a brilliant game for any gathering, whether family or friends. It even got the interest of some that don’t really have an interest in football. It’s perfect for taking it day on travels due to its compact design.
The strongest feature that really stands out is the how it brings people together. It creates and encourages teamwork, conversation, banter and many memorable moments. For anyone looking for a fun an engaging football quiz game, it delivers exceptional value and lots of replay.

Another strong point that stood out was how the game is designed to be inclusive for anyone. There are other games where you need some knowledge base to play, but this one gives everyone the opportunity to get involved and contribute. There’s always something to learn and due to the variety of topics, they keep everyone interested during each game-play and there’s always something new to learn.
The game benefits from its very easy and simple format, because of this, it keeps the pace moving and players don’t lose interest. When the rounds are short, they make them was to fit in nicely with get-togethers, friends or family and with the mix of interaction, football knowledge and friendly competitiveness, it creates experiences that stay entertaining even after end of each game.

Strikesphere Soccer Dash
The Strikesphere Soccer Dash immediately impressed as it genuinely feels and looks like football training equipment as opposed to a toy. The modern design and bright colours are very appealing and the simple set-up meant you could start playing almost straight away.
From the very start, it became clear that this product offers more than just entertainment. Movement is very much encouraged due to the reaction-based challenges, it encourages co-ordination, concentration and football control while all the time delivering fun whilst playing. Gameplay is kept fresh due to the different modes which keeps players motivated to improve their performance each time they play.
One of its strongest stand-out points was how often my grandsons wanted to return it to. Their reactions and speed created natural motivation, along with the challenge of improving their scores and kept them engaged for long periods of time. It successfully combined fun, enjoyment, skill development and exercise which was effortless.
Due to the sturdy constitution, long-term appeal and the ability to keep children away from technical gadgets, these all gave a very positive and exciting experience.
Another real strength is the game-play flexibility it offers. It can be enjoyed as a single player who wants to practice on their own or part of friendly competitions with, family or friends. The ability to adapt ensures that remains engaging and suits different styles of play.
Through gameplay, it encourages children to work towards improving their performance by setting themselves personal targets. This allows a change in gameplay each time rather than simply playing a game that’s the same all the time. They become focused on beating previous scores, react quicker and develop greater control. This creates a genuine sense of personal progression and achievement.
Most importantly, it provides a fun way to encourage physical activity. In an age where many children spend a lot of time on their screens, it was very refreshing to see something that gets them moving, inspires them, keeps them active and fully immersed for long periods.

Overall Winner
Both products fully deserved their high ratings and offer excellent value in their own ways. The Fanzone Football Trivia Game is the stronger choice for family gatherings, social occasions and football-themed fun around the table.
However, the Strikesphere Soccer Dash narrowly takes first place overall. While it provides the same excitement, enjoyment and competitiveness, it also delivers additional benefits through physical activity, concentration, coordination and football skill development. Most importantly, it consistently encouraged children to choose active play over screen time. For those reasons, the Strikesphere Soccer Dash is my overall winner and recommendation.
