Salter Fuzion Dual Air Fryer With Divider – 8L Capacity, 1700W Review

As a busy working mum, I tend to be on the lookout for household gadgets which make life easier.  Several years ago, I started out with a non-dual air fryer. I would regularly tend to make 3 different dinners and would often cook my own meal after cooking my children’s dinner.  I think that dual air fryers are such a wonderful idea.    The Salter Fuzion dual air fryer particularly appealed to me because it has a generous 8L capacity which can be used all in one by removing the divider or split up into 2 x 4L by using the divider.   It arrived quickly in perfect condition. 

The Salter website states the following…

‘Originating as a family business and now the UK’s oldest housewares brand, Salter is as trusted today as it always has been.’

I looked up the functions of the air fryer on Salter’s website:

• 60 minute timer – I think that this is really generous and allows for cooking a lot of food items.
• Cook healthy meals without using oil – I think that is important for families to live a healthy lifestyle.
• Sync and match settings – I think that these functions are very handy.  The sync function means that you can set one compartment of the air fryer to start cooking something with a longer cooking time first and then have the other compartment start cooking later so that the food in both compartments is ready together.  The match function means that you can use the same timings for both compartments. 
• 8 pre-set functions and a digital LED touch display – I think that the display looks so smart.
• This gadget does not need to be pre heated and therefore is energy saving.
• The non-stick cooking trays make it easy to clean.

The functionality of this dual air fryer is amazing. I am a big fan of practical gifts.  I gave this product as a gift to someone in my life and they were delighted with it.   From talking to the person, it quickly became clear what a positive difference this air fryer has made to their life. They find it really easy to use.   They told me that they have mostly used it to make potato waffles, chips and nuggets.  The food has tended to come out tasting great and this handy kitchen gadget is making their hectic evenings so much easier.

That  said, I like the look of so many of the items on the Salter website. 

I would wholeheartedly recommend Salter as well as this specific product to others.  I think that its price represents excellent value for money. I think that it would make a fantastic Christmas gift for those foodies, caravanners or tech lovers in someone’s life in fact it would be really handy to take and use in a touring caravan.
