Amy Winehouse was a huge Noughties icon with her gravelly soulful voice and colourful private life. Her songs are instantly recognisable and legendary. Lighthouse Poole is delighted to announce the return of The Amy Winehouse Band to play the Concert Hall on Saturday 15th November and I’m so excited!!
Having raised the rafters on their visit in September 2024, the Amy Winehouse Band – lead by Amy’s musical director and bassist Dale Davis – is coming back to Lighthouse Poole, with an orchestra in tow.
Amy Winehouse’s original band were with her live and on record all the way from her very beginnings to the Grammys and the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury, but we are very lucky that this leg of the tour has a live orchestra. I think this is something that’s going to give me goosebumps.
Keeping Amy’s musical legacy alive and providing younger fans with the chance to hear these modern classic songs in person for the first time, The Amy Winehouse Band perform songs from throughout her extraordinary career including Rehab, Back to Black, Tears Dry On Their Own, Valerie, Love Is A Losing Game, and more.
I’m expecting an evening filled with the classics, fantastic voices and live music to give me goosebumps. I can’t wait for Saturday night!
