PMD Clean – Unique Skin Care Gift Review

Over the past few years, I have taken great interest in caring for my skin, and love to try new products, although as I have skin that is prone to breakouts, I am always cautious, so I was intrigued to try the PMD clean its quite a unique product.

As the name suggests the PMD clean is designed to aid your cleansing routine but also reports to help lift and improve the texture of the skin and it was a bit of a fight in our house as to who would test this, me or my teenage daughter? (I won!).

I took a look at the website ahead of the product arriving to find out a bit more and was surprised to see how many different colours were available. The PMD clean uses technology called SonicglowTM, it is made of super soft silicone and can be used as part of your daily cleansing routine. It is designed to be used with facial wash type cleansing products and has two different silicone bristles to massage your skin as it cleanses. According to the website, the PMD clean vibrates about 7000 times per minute and claims to help combat blackheads. I was excited to see the results of this as I really struggle with blackheads in my T-zone. Once used the PMD clean can be rinsed in warm water and allowed to air dry in the small plastic stand that accompanies the device.

The device also has a second use and can be used to improve the application of serums to the skin. If you turn over the device, you will notice a smoother, rippled textured surface for this purpose. There are about four different settings, which vary in intensity that can be used depending on your preference. The handle is makes it easy to hold and move over the skin and the base of the unit detaches and the batteries are replaced easily. What I loved about this product is that my skin felt thoroughly cleansed and fresh when I had used it with my go to facial wash cleanser, and this was definitely an improvement as sometimes, exfoliating pads I have used previously have had a tendency to leave my skin feeling aggravated from harsh scrubbing, but with the PMD Clean, from the first use I felt like my skin had started to glow.

I have been using the PMD Clean now for about a week and I am starting to see some really positive changes. My skin is looking clearer – I have definitely noticed less blackheads especially over my nose, my skin is brighter and definitely starting to show signs of being lifted. I can honestly say, I can’t wait to keep using the PMD Clean and see what the continued results are like. Although the PMD clean is quite expensive, I feel that this is an investment in my skin and if I compare the cost of the PMD Clean, it is equivalent to a couple of facials, but will last me a lot longer and so I will continue to keep seeing the benefits.

I have loved trying out the PMD clean for myself, but I think this would make the perfect gift for anyone who has an interest in skin care or for anyone who has noticed their skin needs a bit of a pick me up. I am planning on purchasing one (in a different colour) for my teenage daughter, who too has blackhead prone skin. Although her younger skin has very different needs than mine, the fact that she can use it with her usual products is a real winner. As any parent of teenagers will know, they are notoriously difficult to buy presents for and this is a unique gift idea, but also, one which will be used regularly. I think the PMD clean will help her to take care of her skin and in-still good habit for the future. I also love that due to the wide range of colours there is a PMD clean for everyone!
