This book appealed to me as I live in Greater London, I always head towards the same areas of London and I am aware there are lots of places I am missing out on. There are 62 attractions listed in this book, a mixture of well-known London sights, cool music venues and some alternative sights, street art and shops. The book gives you a brief history for each attraction, a picture of the attraction staring the lovely Peggy Lee (a white toy poodle) and useful travel information advising you of nearest tube station and bus routes.
Peggy Lee Loves London is a good reference book that I will definitely get out when I’m heading into London . The book is handbag sized so easy to carry around and the pictures are adorable. Lots of the attractions in this book appeal to me and I will definitely visit some of the music venues soon.
I would recommend this book to people that live close to London or visit London regularly and want to explore different areas. If you are visiting London for the first time you would be better off with a regular Travel Guide but this book may offer some alternative sights that you wouldn’t otherwise come across so may make a useful alternative.
