Made By Coopers Zen Room And Pillow Sleep Spray Review

Christmas really is coming and those stockings won’t fill themselves! If you are on the lookout for something a little masculine, don’t rule out home fragrance. Often thought of as the domain of our female gift receivers, this room and pillow spray by Coopers would invite the man or woman in your life into a relaxing night’s sleep. I was dubious when it first arrived as the initial smell from the bottle is quite over powering – but this is intended to be a room spray!
This little bottle of luxury arrives from within the UK in a cute little cardboard tube to protect the recyclable glass bottle within. The tag “Quieten your mind and relax into a state of zen for a peaceful night’s sleep” promises much! But you will not be disappointed as the fine spray fills your room with warmth and calm. My initial thoughts were warm and fuzzy, like a happy childhood memory I couldn’t put my finger on.

The nostalgic tones are not understated as this fine spray hits your pillow or simply spritzes your room. It definitely shouted masculinity to me as I spritzed it just before bedtime, though once my own head hit my pillow, the light mandarin filled my nose and settled me into a shared fragrance experience. This little bottle will last a long time with only 2 – 4 sprays needed at each outing and lasting throughout the night.

The fresh mandarin eases you into a fresh state (like fresh linen), whilst the deep tones of cardamon and sandalwood invoke memories of buildings visited as a child and luxury fragrances. You can almost hear the zen music in the background as your eyes drift off. Essential oils from organic bergamot and vetiver help to carry the fragrance and stick around rather than disappear before you even close your eyes. In fact, I would even suggest spraying before cleaning your teeth so the fragrance has a chance to settle before you settle down for a comfy sleep.

This certainly ticked all the boxes for me as a ‘made in the UK’ gift, vegan, certified organic and natural. The glass bottle eases my conscience against the over use of plastic and the cute little cardboard tube safely protected the bottle without adding extra unsustainable packaging to the environment. Hubby approved of the smell (which is a bonus!), we both got a great night’s sleep, and in the morning our pillows still smelled fresh.
