Olverum Bath Oil Travel Set Review

Do you love travelling and enjoy life’s little luxuries, or know someone that does? If so, the travel set from Olverum is both a perfect self-indulgent treat and a wonderful gift. With a classic but expensive look the oil comes beautifully boxed marked on the rear with a vegan emblem and the statement “we never test on animals”. The cover slides off to reveal another classically styled box and that’s when the gorgeous smell starts to permeate out. Lifting off the lid there is a leaflet containing instructions for use and the heritage of the Olverum brand which makes interesting reading. Inside the travel set contains three gorgeous little glass bottles each containing 15ml of oil, perfect for a weekend away. Even though I hadn’t even opened a bottle at this stage the smell of the essentials oils was filling the room and relaxing me.
There is nothing like a relaxing bath at the end of a long day so I couldn’t wait to try out the luxurious Olverum bath oil, albeit in my own bath not in a hotel. I added the recommended amount of 5ml, each bottle does three baths, closed the door and let the bath run while I did a few jobs round the house. When I came back a few minutes later the bathroom was filled with a gorgeous aroma exactly like being in an expensive spa. With plant oils such as Siberian Fir, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Rosemary & Lavender oils to relax the mind and body my tension soon drifted away. After a lovely long soak my muscles definitely felt more relaxed and my skin felt soft and supple from the oil a perfect remedy for dry or sun-drenched skin.
Whilst not the cheapest bath oil on the market, it does feel very luxurious and definitely far cheaper than a spa yet you feel like you have the same end result, soft feeling skin, relaxed muscles, clear sinuses and a great night’s sleep. If after nine baths you are getting used to the luxury life you can also buy Olverum bath oil in 125ml & 250ml bottles.
