Now That’s What I Call Summer Review

NowSummerNow That’s What I Call Summer
3 CD Compilation Album

Reviewed by Tracey Flintham

I have always been a fan of the ‘Now’ albums and remember my mum buying the original Now album many years ago. Throughout the years I bought various Now albums but haven’t purchased one recently so I was really looking forward to reviewing this CD.

The CD arrived in a folder style case that opens up so you can see the 3 CDs. The cover is bright and eye catching and the colour scheme extends through to the CDs themselves. CD 1 and 2 have a great mix of music on them with some really catchy songs from the past few years up to the present day including popular hits from Pharell Williams’ “Happy” and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” to The Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling”.  CD 3 has some well-known older tunes such as Katrina and the Waves’ “Walking on the Sunshine” and The Jacksons’ “Blame it on the Boogie”.

We have listened to all the songs several times on our car journeys and we have thoroughly enjoyed these CDs with 63 tracks. There is something to suit everyone across all ages and CD 2 was a particular hit with my 7 year old daughter due to the fact there is a One Direction hit on there! It’s a real feel good album with lots of songs to sing along too!

I will definitely be buying more Now compilation albums again.
