I was lucky enough to be chosen to review Miners Cosmetics Nail Colour Jezebel. Being a lover of all things pink I thought the colour looked lovely.
Bearing in mind the price at £2.99 the bottle is a square shape which is quite unusual and looks quite classy. The colour is a gorgeous shade of pink. As I went to open the bottle the plastic square of the top came off in my hand leaving the plastic circle, which was a little disappointing.
The first coat went on well but was quite pale in comparison to how it looked in the bottle. It dried quite quickly so I went for a second coat which again went on well. This made the colour perfect. I painted my fingernails and my toe nails too.
I did not use a top coat as wanted to see how durable the varnish was. On my toes it has not chipped 5 days later and still looks very shiny. On my fingers the varnish chipped after a couple of days so I had to remove it.
For what I consider a budget nail varnish I think overall it is a good product for the price and if I had applied a top coat I think it would have lasted longer. I have used more expensive varnishes and they only last the same amount of time without a top coat.
A good buy for £2.99 for those of us who can’t afford the more expensive brands.
