Mi Smart Band 4 Review

I was so excited to review this item and sorry to let the cat out of the bag without you reading further, but I wasn’t disappointed.
The first thing I did was to charge the band so I could give an accurate statement on the battery life. For someone who doesn’t read instructions this was the first challenge. I have owned smartbands/watches before and the charging has not included taking apart so me being me tried to charge whilst still connected, I knew I was doing something wrong so did the sensible thing and read the instruction. Simple when you know how, remove the body of the fitness tracker from the band and it fits into the charger perfectly.
Once the band was fully charged it was time to install the app to my phone and connect the band to the app, this is done through Bluetooth. I installed the app, paired the band to my phone but for some reason it would not connect to my phone. The app just said, restore band to factory setting and try again. This is all done with a few clicks on the band and within no time it was connected to the app and all ready to go. I followed the instructions on the app to personalise the band to me, just a few standard questions regarding my health.

Not only does this band tell the time you can track your steps, read notifications from your phone, check the weather, read your heart rate, personalise your work out. It has an alarm, stopwatch, timer, calorie counter, all of which can be useful during your workout. I say workout, I never went to the gym I just like to keep track of how many steps I do in a day. It also has the option to play music, but I don’t have any music on my phone so didn’t use this. The band has a full colour touch screen display so using it couldn’t be easier.

I have had a really good play with this smart band and the battery has gone from 100% when fully charged to 85% after 5 days of use, this is pretty amazing I would say that you could get 2 weeks or more out of a single charge (the specs say 20 days from a single charge).
I am really impressed with this band, even my family think it’s great. It comes with the standard black band but other colours can be purchased so you can have a band to match every outfit. If you are wanting to personalise the band more you can change the band display, this is done through the app at no extra cost. For the price of this band you get so many features it does well in the market against some of the more expensive fitness trackers.
Look no further if you are wanting a gift idea, this band is perfect for anyone.
Overall, I would give this band 5 stars as it is packed full of features and is easy to use.
