I am always excited by Lush products. They are my indulgence so I couldn’t wait to use the melt I was sent to review.
It arrived in their well-known paper bags and I could smell it through the outside packaging before I even started to unwrap it.
The scent is sugary sweet but not too overpowering. It smells very like bubblegum, is pink in colour and shaped like a cup cake.
At first I imagined it was a bath bomb but then realised it was a melt, this was something different so I went on their website to see how to use it properly.
As instructed I crumbled the Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment under the running water for my bath. I decided to be very indulgent and used the whole lot but I think with hindsight there was probably enough for another day too.
The scent spread through the upstairs of my house and my grown up son commented on how lovely it was. It turned the bath water a pretty pink and felt wonderful when relaxing at the end of a hard day.
It didn’t leave any fragrance on my skin but it felt silky and had a shimmer to it after drying.
A lovely little treat I shall be using again.
