SensatioNail Peel Off Nail Polish Review

Reviewed by Emily Crombie
I was interested to try out the SensatioNail Peel Off Nail Polish this morning. The colour was Mauve Over, a pale grey colour which looked rather uninspiring in the bottle but was certainly better on!
The polish arrived promptly and comes in a smart rectangular bottle which contains 14.8ml of nail polish.
The polish covers well but two coats are needed for a solid cover and it does take a wee while to dry. The finish is lovely and smooth and glossy. It feels softer than other nail polishes, so it doesn’t seem to chip but it does mark easily if you catch it.
It doesn’t have the normal nail polish smell, I can’t quite decide what it smells of… it is slightly unpleasant but not strong.
The massive advantage of SensatioNail Peel Off Nail Polish is that instead of the palaver of nail varnish remover to take it off, you can just peel it off. This makes it ideal for travelling and holidays or would make a lovely gift.
The bottle of nail polish really has no information of how to use it but the website (sensationail.co.uk) has a full section on how to apply the nail polish. It also says that it is a water-based polish that it free from the five big nasty chemicals that are often in nail polish, isn’t tested on animals, is non-flammable and non-toxic.
I think the SensatioNail Peel Off Nail Polish is a great idea and certainly a lot simpler to remove – it is obviously better for us and better for the environment, but the payoff is that it is not as robust as some nail polishes although a top coat certainly helps.
At £6 per bottle it is a great price and it comes in a good selection of colours… I’m off to buy some for my daughter’s birthday!
