Christmas came early in my house when I received the Lights4fun Gold Glass LED Bauble Trio. These lights are so delicate and so pretty.
They arrived packed in a plain cardboard box with a cut out plastic foam base and lid. Each bauble was individually wrapped in tissue paper to keep them safe and in perfect condition during transit.
The light weight delicate baubles measure 8cm in diameter and they are made from very fine clear glass decorated with an antique gold effect. They have a silver cap and are strung with a thin silver velvet ribbon. Each bauble requires an AAA battery (not supplied) to power the warm white LED bulb. The battery easily fits inside the silver cap on the top of the bauble. Included with the baubles is a small remote control which is used to switch the lights on and off and can also be used to set them to flash mode. In addition the remote control can be used to set the lights on a 6 hour timer. According to the instruction leaflet the batteries should last for up to 50 hours of usage.
Once the battery was fitted I was able to see just how lovely these baubles will look at Christmas time. I am not a lover of garish Christmas decorations, so these subtly elegant baubles are just perfect for me. They could be hung on the tree as a traditional decoration or used as part of an arrangement, or simply put in a bowl on their own. However they are displayed the gold and silver tones will easily fit in with any colour scheme so they can be very versatile. The bulbs give off a soft warm golden glow and are very stylish and chic.
These lights are for indoor use, however, Lights4fun offer a wide range of products for both indoor and outdoor use with prices to suit all pockets ranging from £2.99 to over £1,000. Receiving these attractive baubles make me want to put my decorations up early. In fact I might pop them in a bowl and put them on the sideboard right now. Although they are for Christmas they are to pretty not to be used at anytime. They will certainly brighten up the dull autumn days.
