This is a brilliant game! Like all great games it’s extremely addictive I couldn't put the controller down once I started playing. To accompany the movie of the same name the game follows Alex, Marty, Gloria and Melman as they struggle to get home to New York with a travelling circus run by the ingenious penguins!

You can play as any of the main characters as they try to get home and avoid capture by Captain Dubois and his animal inspectors. There are 2 ways to play either individual games or story mode. I tried both but became addicted to the story mode.

As with the movies the characters in the game are hilarious especially the penguins who steal the show for me! Game play is quite easy to pick up and there are helpful on screen hints when you need to press certain buttons on the control pad.

After a bit of trial and error I eventually got to grips with each scenario and liked the challenge of finding what the penguins sent the characters out to find. You can play on your own but 2 player mode is ideal for this game as 2 characters set out on each mission for the penguins.

I really recommend this game as its fun for both kids and adults alike. Must get back to playing this very enjoyable game.
