JOHNSON’S Baby Products Review

I always used Johnson & Johnson products on my children who are now 37 and 31 years old. They are such a well-known brand and one I feel I have always been able to trust. If you ask most people what their favourite smell is, a large proportion will tell you JOHNSON’S baby powder.

When I was a young child growing up in Portsmouth, the factory that made these products was almost at the end of my garden and you could always smell the baby powder.

I was very pleased to be offered some products from JOHNSON’S Baby to review, especially now I have my first grandchild and I am back in baby mode.

There are so many products on the market these days, but for me it has to be JOHNSON’S they never ever let me down or my children.

Now the products are even gentler with 50 per cent fewer ingredients. With no parabens, sulphates or phthalates.

JOHNSON’S has been around for 125 years and they have a mission statement which is to create the gentlest baby products in the world. Products that are so mild they can be used for every age and stage of babies life. Now that is a very strong statement.

I was sent two packets of Sensitive Baby Wipes and two bottles of Sensitive Baby Oil to review. It was great having two of each as I could give a set to my daughter in law and I could keep a set here.

My granddaughter had a small patch of cradle cap in her hair. So I suggested my daughter in law try the oil, only using a small amount and see if the oil lifted it so it could be gently loosened off. She really was amazed when this very quickly worked. The oil does not feel as greasy as it used to and leaves no residue. This obviously is only one use for this very versatile oil. Not only is it great for babies and children but it has many uses for us adults, it is ideal to use for dry skin and great to bathe in.

The baby wipes are fantastic. They are larger and thicker than most baby wipes, so you do not need as many when changing baby’s nappies. These can also be used for babies hands and faces.

Again, for us adults they are so soft and gentle and great for cleansing your face. Always make sure you put wipes in the bin even if they say they are flushable. If not, you could end up with quite an expensive bill for a blocked drain, trust me I know!

JOHNSON’S has such a pleasant smell that is unique to this company.

The JOHNSON’S Baby website is really informative with lots of tags ranging from preparing for your baby to playing and learning. It has full product details as JOHNSON’S produce a range of products and ages they are suitable for. The range includes nursing pads and baby wash. They also have various collections that include the Classics and Extra Moisturising.

You can purchase JOHNSON’S products at almost every chemist and supermarket.

The price for the oil is £3 and for the wipes 90p per packet. Prices do often change due to offers. Also you can get coupons from their website.

I am giving these products 5/5 stars. As they have worked for me and are really reasonably priced.
