Now, here’s what lovely Lynsey Turner from Lynsey Turner Coaching who also owns owns a business networking group for female business owners called The Sisterhood Networking Group – Fareham had to say…

How and when did your business start?

I began coaching in 2021. It started as a personal mission to manage my fibromyalgia, which sparked a passion for helping others do the same. I decided to bring my corporate management skills into the coaching world, combining my experience with my desire to empower others. I now support female business owners who have an underlying health condition or neurodiversity to manage life and business without burning out.

What have been your biggest challenges in business?

Without a doubt, my biggest challenge has been finding my niche. There are so many areas I’ve wanted to explore, which left me feeling stuck for quite some time. However, once I focused on the needs of my ideal client, everything became much clearer.

What tips would you give to anyone thinking about starting their own business?

Don’t wait for perfection, just start. Taking messy action is far more valuable than staying in planning mode. Mistakes are the fastest way to learn and grow, so embrace them as part of the process.

What is the best thing about being in Maddy Alexander-Grout’s Invisible to Influential membership?

The membership has been fantastic for helping me stay focused on creating content, something I’m continually working on. Social media consistency can be a challenge, but having a supportive group to share content and get feedback is invaluable. Plus, Maddy’s infectious energy keeps me motivated to push forward.

Have there been any recent wins that you would like to tell us about?

I have recently won a contract to help provide confidence and wellbeing workshops for a charity The Police Firearms Officers Association. It will be a 12 month project looking at the role of the female officers and how we can improve on the number of female officers, what challenges they face and offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Do you have anything exciting coming up that you would like to tell us about?

2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year! Alongside growing my coaching business, I’m in the early stages of launching a wellbeing company. It’s all very new, but I’m in the process of trademarking the name and can’t wait to share more soon.

Which activities do you enjoy doing in your leisure time?

I love spending my free time at the theatre or comedy clubs. While I enjoy watching big-name comedians, I have a real soft spot for smaller, up and coming acts, they’re often just as funny!
