Sort And Seek Polar Animals By Learning Resources Review

All little children absolutely adore engaging in hide and peek play and with this in mind, it was a real delight to review the Sort & Seek Polar Animals play set from the renowned Learning Resources Company. The Sort & Seek Polar Animals would be the perfect, guaranteed to delight Christmas gift for any child aged from 18+ months. As a Christmas gift, it is also very reassuring to know that as well as being the ‘coolest way to explore hide and peek play!’, the Sort and Seek Polar Animals set helps to develop all important child development skill sets such as Imagination, Number Identification, Fine Motor and Colour Identification, my list could go on and on.

As a specialist teacher, a Mum and now a Grandma, I have always been a huge fan of the award winning Learning Resources company and have a great affinity with their motto ‘Learning is Where We Play’. Since 1984, the Learning Resources Company have been constantly discovering ways to learn through play and the Sort and Seek Polar Animals is no exception. Learning Resources products are research based and I have found to be always of the highest quality, succeeding in turning a childhood love of play into a lifetime love of learning, ‘recommended by teachers, trusted by parents and loved by children’.

The Sort & Seek Polar Animals arrived very well packaged, with each little animal wrapped up cosy inside their own igloo and ready to surprise a lucky little child! The individual items within the set felt to be of good, durable quality and the perfect size for little hands and fingers. The set also included a most impressive activity guide, with two whole pages of suggested activities offering the perfect blend of fun and educational. The perfect Christmas gift for hours and hours of fun (grown ups included!)

The Sort & Seek Polar Animals is (at least) a ‘4 Ways to learn!’ activity set. The impressive play set comprises 5 numbered two-piece igloos, which come in different appealing colours. The cool little igloos cleverly pop open to reveal 5 different polar animals. Children will love popping them open as well as snapping them shut and at the same time, build coordination and fine motor skills. We also loved how the cute polar animals can double as finger puppets for imaginative adventures and games of pretend, alongside number and colour skills.

We felt the Sort & Seek Polar Animals set would also grow developmentally with little ones, making it an ideal Christmas gift to stand the test of time. The Sort & Seek Polar Animals really jumps out as a product which covers many developmental areas as well as for a range of children’s ages.

For us, the Sort & Seek Polar Animals would be a wonderful Christmas gift for any child in the recommended age category. It is cute, yet engaging and bound to be a hit!
