The Grove Theatre is lovely modern theatre. On the evening that we went to see Hormaonal Housewives it was well staffed and even though it was a full house we were served drinks quickly before the performance started. The polite and helpful staff directed us to our comfortable and roomy seats. My mum has 2 replacement knees and the seats were roomy enough for her to sit and there are disabled toilets, I cannot fault the venue.

Hormonal Housewives is absolutely hilarious. From beginning to end there were constant giggles and proper belly laughter!!

The name that you recognise from the cast is Toyah Wilcox but the absolute star of the show was Julie Coombe. Her comedy timing and how she didn't laugh (or come flying off the stage) I will never know.

The interaction and banter with the audience was really good too. There were about 4 men in the entire audience – if you are planning on bringing hubby be warned he will be heckled a lot!

I really recommend seeing the show with your mum, sister or girlie friends. You will leave there with an achy face from all the laughter and be trying to remember all of the jokes if you are like me and my mum!
