Snoring Ring

I am reviewing the Good Night Snoring Ring, which claims to help stop that snoring… or your money back.

So, on first impressions this looked like the solution to all my sleepless nights. The packaging states a 30 day money back guarantee if it doesn’t work for you… so I felt quite confident this would be the right thing to allow me to have restful sleep once again.

The product is available from online at www.goodnightsnoring.com Upon viewing the product ,the reviews seemed positive. Their statement claimed to help 8 out of 10 people. The ring is a silver metal band and lightweight, so nothing too intrusive.

The ring comes in 3 different sizes. We were supplied the medium sized (17-19mm), this is also adjustable. The ring is supposed to work by pushing on 2 acupuncture points in the little finger, S12 & HT9 working in harmony with the body’s natural bio rhythms. The inner side has a noble that needs to sit on the inner side of the right hand, at points 3 and 9 o’clock. Same on the left hand for women. This is because of the Chinese yin yang beliefs. It’s also noted if particularly a heavy snorer 2 snoring rings can be worn. I hadn’t considered my partner a heavy snorer, so thought one finger would be sufficient. The ring needs to be worn 30 minutes before bedtime for maximum effect. The snoring ring also shouldn’t be worn for more than 12 hours a day and only while sleeping. It’s only suitable for over 18 year old’s. Pregnant women and people with sleep apnea shouldn’t use the product.

The first night after opening the snoring ring packaging we observed the instructions and set about going to bed, I was excited. My partner stated it felt comfortable to wear, so we were off to a good start already. We said goodnight and I awoke the next morning to find my partner still asleep. Was this the revelation I’d been looking for for so many years?

The next night we repeated this procedure and was a little disappointed as I was awoken by the snoring. Still, we were not deterred as the information sent with the snoring ring stated it could take up to 2 weeks to see the effects, rather than 2 nights.

Our little experiment has continued and appears to be a bit hit and miss. Some nights seemed great and others I noticed the snoring. It is now 2 weeks and I don’t think I can whole heartily say I’m convinced this will be the right product to give me the quality sleep I was hoping for. Maybe the suggested 2 rings would work. I’m a believer in the works of acupuncture and holistic therapies, which is the reason I was initially excited to try the snoring ring. I noted the snoring ring money back guarantee stress the goodnight snoring ring needs to be worn for a minimum 21 continuous days. The study the product only contained 40 Male and 40 female volunteers. Our little experiment was 14 days, so arguable we have not fairly tested the product, so we will persevere but so far it hasn’t had the desired effect.

My partner states he does like the way the product looks and it is comfortable to wear. While (so far) it hasn’t worked for us, it may make a unique Christmas gift idea or stocking filler (it has the 30 day guarantee so you can always get a refund if it doesn’t work).
