Godfather Of Children’s Stand-up Comedy James Campbell Playing Series Of 2026 Dates At London’s Museum Of Comedy

GUEST POST

James Campbell, the internationally renowned children’s stand-up who pioneered the genre of comedy for kids, has announced several new dates at the Museum of Comedy in central London. Following his recent sell-out shows, James begins a residency on the last weekend of each month from February to June 2026.

James, who invented the idea of proper stand-up for children in 2001, will be performing his live show, James Campbell’s Comedy 4 Kids: Reducks!, which may include exploding penguins, seventeen ways to eat jam and songs to sing to the worms in your dog’s bottom.

Since starting out in comedy nearly 25 years ago, James has been travelling the world, bringing high-quality laughter to children in thousands of schools, libraries, theatres and festivals – as well as teaching kids’ comedy workshops, writing a series of much-loved funny books (including Boyface, the Funny Life books, Daphne and the Marmalade Cow) and parenting his own children.

James Campbell says: “This show is twice as funny as anything you’ve seen before so cover yourself in glue, roll around in glitter for five minutes and then come to the show shouting, “I’m a massive disco maggot!” until someone asks you to leave”.
