Giles & Posner Jelly Sweet Gummy Treat Maker Review

One of the little people in my life face lit up when this Jelly Sweet Gummy Treat Maker (EK2190) from Giles & Posner arrived. The packaging looks great and the instructions were really easy to follow. It’s great that the product offers a selection of recipes for different types of sweets. Please note that the ingredients must be purchased separately and do not come in the box (the ingredients are readily available from supermarkets).

The sweet maker has four sections, each making a different shape of sweet. My favourite are the heart shaped ones. It makes up to 32 sweets at once, so there are plenty for that little person in your life and their friends. I was a bit worried that I would struggle with the sweet making process, but it was really simple. We melted the gelatine mixture in the 125ml central electric heating pot (60w), then poured the melted mixture into the moulds. Then we had to wait until the sweets had cooled before we could eat them (around 15-20 minutes).

We tried out one flavour of sweets and I am delighted with the results. You can see how we got on in the photo. The Sweet Maker even comes with 20 customisable gift bags, so that sweets can be shared with friends.

The Giles & Posner Jelly Sweet Gummy Treat Maker is very easy to use and the heating pot is controlled by a very simple on/off switch. I loved the safety feature of non-slip feet.

In the box is:
1x Sectioned tray, 1x Electric melting pot, 1x Silicone star shaped mould, 1x Silicone dummy shaped mould, 1x Silicone heart shaped mould, 1x Silicone snake shaped mould, 20x Customisable sweet bags, and 1x Instruction manual.

I would recommend this sweet maker, it would make a lovely Easter present as an alternative to chocolate and would be a perfect fun treat for children’s birthday parties. I would recommend this product.
