For an evening full of fun and childlike wonder, this is your go to! An absolutely amazing display of drones and fireworks, in a spectacular setting!

There were a few different areas to go and explore, an area with a wide selection of food and drinks vendors. All the food smelled delicious and there was just about every cuisine you could think of, and the vendors all looked super happy and were really lovely, and the prices were reasonable for an event like this! The fairground had a good few rides of varying sizes, some for the younger kids as well and everyone was having such fun! There was no-one being pushy or trying to sell extra, which made for a very comfortable experience walking around. The German Bier Festival and the Ice Skating Rink are an add-on ticket, so be sure to add these on to your ticket when purchasing!

There were plenty of viewing areas and these, while busy, did not feel overcrowded. We were in the accessible viewing area which had an amazing view of the drone and firework displays.

All I can say is WOW! One of the most amazing displays I have ever seen. First was the drone display which absolutely blew my mind, with everyone around taking pictures, videos, and just being amazed at the spectacle. How this display was done is confusing me for sure, but it was amazing to see, and I would love to see another! The fireworks were done to music, several songs, varying in genres, everyone was having a sing and a dance along whilst enjoying the show. Getting fireworks in time to music is amazing in itself. The whole display was just incredible; the music reduced the ‘bang’ sensation of the fireworks. The ending, I just stood smiling with my jaw on the floor. What an incredible spectacle! This was all set with a lovely backdrop of London lit up at night – just all around amazing.

Everything around the grounds remained open for an hour and a bit after the display, with massive tents for dancing and some tribute bands in the Bier Festival.

The grounds are huge and the layout has been done fantastically so that no area gets too crowded. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as there is a good amount of walking, especially up-hill, but lots of places to stop and sit and take in the views.

Some bits of the park were not signposted particularly well, but there were so many stewards around and all the ones I spoke to were so lovely, and so happy to help anyone! There was also visible medical and emergency assistance, which really helped put everything at ease with so many people in one place.

Entry was super easy (a bit crowded, but we were there from 15 minutes before the gates opened) – the stewards kept things moving fast, while keeping everyone safe. Exit out of the grounds itself was super easy, but the travel onwards at Alexandra Palace Station was a bit much, as you can expect with so many people leaving a space at one time – there were, however, many team members around to support.

Ticket prices vary for children and adults, starting from £5.50, up to £36.50, with add-ons from £13. These can be bought on their website: https://fireworks.london/ and the closest station is Alexandra Palace.

It’s on 1st & 2nd November this year! Make sure to get your tickets now!
