Daddynatal Wins National Business Award
Dad of two wins prestigious award at Mumpreneur UK 2011 Awards
Starting up your own business is no mean feat, yet dad-of-two, Dean Beaumont has done it so well that his success has been recognised at the 2011 Mumpreneur Conference and Awards sponsored by Yell and DHL Express.
Dean’s business, DaddyNatal www.daddynatal.co.uk was chosen by a panel of independent judges that included Dragons Den star Duncan Bannatyne, as the winner of the Best Dadpreneur Award. The award, sponsored by Everyclick, was presented on Sunday 25th September at the Heart of England Conference Centre, Warwickshire. After receiving his award, Dean said ‘It is an absolute honour to have won this award, and it will enable us to continue to build awareness of DaddyNatal, thereby supporting more families and fathers across the UK.’
DaddyNatal are classes by men for men, created to support men to be the best birth partners and dads that they can be, bringing men together to learn about pregnancy, labour and newborns in a way which is tailored to them. These classes are unique because they are run by MALE antenatal educators, making them a wholly men-only environment, and they focus on the things which men need and want to know about in their journey to becoming a father.
Laura Rigney, co-founder of Mumpreneur UK, said: "His business is excellent and his progress is outstanding. We are very proud to have Dean as the very first winner of this prestigious award."
