I recently received my Kindle Keyboard Gift Pack from www.mobilefun.co.uk and I love it. The gift pack consists of:
1x Leather-look book style case
1x Silicon case
5x Screen protectors
1x Clip-on reading light
1x In-car charger.
All this for just £24.99 that’s what I call a bargain.
As I take my Kindle everywhere with me I found the book-style case the best option for my needs. The Kindle slots into very easily and is held in with 2 fixed straps on each bottom corner and 2 elasticated straps on the top 2 corners. As it is book-style the cover closes and is held closed with a magnetic button. This offers great screen protection so when in my bag nothing is hitting the screen scratching or damaging it.
The silicon case is also quite nice giving a much better grip on the Kindle and has cut-outs so you can still have access to the keyboard, ports and the speakers. Again this was very simple to fit and as it is black in colour in my opinion made the Kindle look better than the drab grey.
It also comes with 5 screen protectors that are again very easy to fit with good, clear instructions on the packet. They are anti-scratch and anti-glare. Whether you are using the silicon or book-style case this is a great addition to stop damage or dirt to your screen. It is very easy to remove by peeling off and it leaves no sticky residue behind.
The clip-on LED reading light is great, it means I can now read in bed without having the brighter bedside lamp on. I found it best to clip it to the folded over front cover of the book-style case and with its flexible neck can be adjusted into any position enabling you read in poor light. The website says it requires 2 AAA batteries but the version I received required 3. It does add a little bit extra weight to the Kindle but not enough to worry about and is worth it so as not to get eye-strain in bad light.
There is also an in-charger than plugs into the cigarette lighter in the car. Even though I have only ever ran out of battery once, due to the long battery life in the Kindle, it was extremely annoying and at least with this you know that you can charge on the go. So while it may not just used a lot it is very handy to leave in the car and not have to worry about finding your charger or a power socket.
Overall, this is a must have gift set for any Kindle Keyboard owner. If you value your Kindle as much as I do you will want to protect it and the cases and screen protectors and great for the job. Easy to fit and look good. At £24.99 I think this is great value for money. Highly recommended.
