I always feel and look healthier with a glowing tan, so I was very happy to have the opportunity to review the Cocoa Brown One Hour Tan Mousse, with the Tough Stuff No Nonsense Scrub and the washable Self Tan Applicator Mitt. I loved the girly packaging – the beautiful pink bottle of mousse with its matching gift bag.
The evening prior to application, I exfoliated with the Tough Stuff No Nonsense Scrub for rough areas, paying particular attention to my heels, ankles, elbows and hands. I opened the sachet and discovered a beautifully scented pink scrub which left my skin feeling wonderfully smooth. There was plenty in the sachet for more than one treatment.
The following day, I showered and applied a gentle, oil-free moisturiser to my skin. When my skin was dry, I then carefully applied the One Hour Tan formula using the Self Tan Mitt. The mousse went on to my skin very smoothly without leaving any streaks.
I allowed the mousse to dry for about three hours as I felt I wanted a slightly deeper tan, but I could see the colour developing very quickly. A more subtle look would have been achieved if I had left the application on for less time. I then showered the mousse off and I now have a lovely golden tan.
I have tried self-tanning products before and have been put off by the nasty smell and by having to wait overnight to see if my tan had developed without streaks. I was very impressed by the Cocoa Brown One Hour Tan Mousse as there is no unpleasant odour and you get a very fast result. The instructions on the packaging are very clear.
I will definitely use this product again and will recommend it to all my friends.
