We were delighted to be chosen to review the knitted Christmas Pudding hat from Cobwebknits. The hat arrived all boxed up and packaged in shredded paper – the hat itself had been stuffed with paper to keep its shape. Also in the box was a postcard size card with a hand written message – a lovely touch.
The hat is perfect timing for my newborn son to test drive. Newborn knitted hats can be such different sizes but this one fitted my 3 week year old son perfectly – and looks so adorable!
The attention to detail on this item is what makes it so special. There are small dots in a darker brown on the body of the ‘pudding’, a white rim on the edge of the hat as well as ‘dripping’ from the top and as a final touch, from the top of the hat where the knitting is gathered, there is an embellishment of felt red berries and green holly.
It really is so very cute, and will more than likely be appearing on Oscar’s head on our family Christmas card this year!!
