With Christmas just 21 days away (eek) people’s thoughts are on Christmas parties, present lists, what to buy and for whom, Secret Santa’s and Christmas jumpers!
My family loves a Christmas jumper, and we love to find the silliest, most outrageous jumpers each year, so I was chuffed to be sent a cheesetastic jumper from Cancer Research UK to wear over the festive season.
Christmas jumpers do make you smile whether you are young or old and have been a well-loved tradition for many families over the years.
The jumper I received was a bright red 100% acrylic knitted jumper with a block of cheese adorned with a sprig of holly, surrounded by snowflakes with a very festive looking mouse poking his head out from the cheesy goodness. The slogan ticked me ‘This is a cheesy Christmas Jumper’.
The jumper is very well made and not scratchy in the slightest. Usually, when I buy jumpers I wash them with fabric softener before wearing as I detest the scratchy feeling of a new jumper against my skin. The sizing is true to size and the medium I was sent fits like a glove. The material has just the right amount of ‘give’ so I didn’t feel restricted or uncomfortable in the slightest.
Buying this jumper also supports a charity very close to a lot of families’ hearts especially at this time of year. Remembering loved ones no longer with us and reminiscing over the good times. Cancer Research UK is one of the most well-known charities here in the UK and the support they offer is a tremendous blessing to those battling cancer and to those who have lost loved ones from this devastating disease.
I enjoy helping charities as and when I can and usually every Christmas our cards will be charity cards. I believe strongly in helping others and will continue with that mindset for the rest of my life.
As well as jumpers the Cancer Research UK site also sells a lot of other festive goodies including Secret Santa gifts, candles, socks and even gift wrap! So instead of heading to your local supermarket to stock up on the festive essentials take a look instead at the Cancer Research UK site and help raise much-needed funds whilst having fun and making memories this Christmas.
This is a jumper right up my street and it matches my humour perfectly so this Christmas I will be wearing my cheesy Christmas jumper with pride!
The price of this wonderful cosy jumper is a purse and wallet-friendly £16.99! That is a bargain and a lot cheaper than most other jumpers I have spotted in well-known shops.
Buy yours now or take a look at the website and help Cancer Research UK continue to help people affected by cancer all over the UK! What better gift could anyone ever wish for than a cure for this evil disease. Get ordering and let’s make it happen!
Christmas Jumper Day is on 13th December 2019 so what better excuse to buy one for you and jumpers for your family!
