When I was asked to review this wonderful product it was an immediate yes, I have not really seen one I liked before, and could see from the Bumbles and Boo website that I would be spoilt for choice. I most certainly was not disappointed. On arrival this beautiful gift was packaged in the most lovely tissue paper with a hand written note from the team behind the products. It’s the first time I have received something and immediately thought you could send this direct to the recipient without worrying about how it looks on arrival.
The nappy cake is breathtakingly beautiful, and designed to be neutral, perfect for new parents who have chosen not to find out the sex of their bundle of joy, equally I would have felt comfortable gifting this for a new born boy or girl.
It’s just so gorgeous, I am not sure if it was gifted to me I would have opened it! The whole bundle is superbly put together and just the most perfect gift if you are attending a baby shower or on the arrival of the baby. The whole item is packaged with cellophane and tied with the cutest knitted bootees you have ever seen.
I have to say I am a lover of white for new born babies, so fell in love with all the items on sight. It takes all those new born essentials that we all know a new baby needs and creates the most wonderful spectacle with them, it surely must take someone hours to put this very cleverly together. I do think you get what you pay for and these are quality items.
There are within the nappy cake eight size three nappies (pampers) and I love that they go a little bigger so you don’t have to rush to unpack all the items. All the clothing items are 0 to six months, they include mittens, hat and bandana bib. There is a beautiful brush and comb set, a set you will cherish and be able to keep in your keepsake box. There is also a cotton muslin for feeding time and two baby wash cloths. The centre piece of the cake is the organic fox baby comforter, he has the softest tummy, which any baby will not want to let go of. There are many comforters on the market, but this is really different and super cute. The whole bundle is finished off with the most lovely white blanket.
All of the products used have eco friendly elements, the white blanket is made completely from recycled plastic bottles, so sustainability is high on the agenda for this lovely company. The whole finish to the gift is stunning, little sprigs of flowers and bows that complement the overall finish. You would be delighted to gift this to friends or family and I am sure they would be overwhelmed with the quality of the products. Bumbles and Boo have a wide variety of hampers nappy cakes and new baby flower bouquets, all of which look equally beautiful.
