Treat Your Mum To Some Love And Blooms Flowers For Mother’s Day Review

I love flowers.  I do not tend to by them myself but I absolutely love receiving them as a gift.  I think that they light up a room and feel all round like such a thoughtful gift.  My mum, much like myself, loves flowers.   I was therefore delighted to get the opportunity to review a bouquet of flowers from the Mother’s Day Range at Love and Blooms.  I had the flowers sent straight to my mum and they arrived very quickly in pristine condition.  My mum said “The flowers arrived well packed in a huge box on the same afternoon that delivery had been arranged.   They were firmly held together in a waterproof bag in a circular hole in the base of the inner box, this prevented them from moving around in transit.”

My mum told me that she did wonder whether they would come pre-arranged in a vase when she saw the huge box, but they did not.  That said, I cannot see that having been a big problem for her as she, like a lot of people I would imagine, had a vase at hand in her home.  I think that she did a fantastic job of arranging the flowers in the vase. 

My mum also said “Two of the blooms were held in their own reservoir of water in a test tube type of holder, the rest were just normal flowers with stalks.  Two sachets of food were supplied to put in the water for the flowers.”

So how long did these beautiful flowers last?  Sadly not as long as my mum had hoped, despite topping up the water in the vase regularly.  I am told that the flowers did start to wilt within a week.  My mum told me that she has had flowers from a supermarket that have lasted longer.  That said, these flowers looked so stunning that this wouldn’t put me off buying them as a gift for someone.  The colours of the flowers looked so striking and worked so well together.  I thought that there was a really good selection included within the bouquet and a generous amount of flowers included too.

I decided to have a good look at the Love and Blooms website and found it to be very user friendly.  I would have been delighted to receive any of the bouquets from their Mother’s Day Range. I particularly like that Love and Blooms sell letterbox flowers for convenience reasons.  You can even buy a subscription box. 

I would not hesitate to recommend Love and Blooms generally as well as the product sent to my mum to others.  I would make a purchase from their website in the future.  My mum is an amazing mum and I am so thankful to Love and Blooms for sending my mum something so beautiful.
