Borderlands 2 is a role playing first person shooter. You play the part of a vault hunter on the planet Pandora seeking and looting treasure and causing mayhem along the way.

You can choose to be of the four Vault Hunters, Salvador, Maya, Exton and Zer0, to plunder the planets resources while fighting Captain Jack, the evil villain, strange alien creatures and psychos.

Overall, I love first person shooter games and this one is superb. Fast and action packed with a great storyline Borderlands 2 if great fun and very addictive. You roam the planet looting and shooting, upgrading weapons, getting to new levels and upping your skills.

The playing world is vast and varied with plenty to explore, plenty to loot and as it is a shooter game plenty to shoot and kill. There is a very high level of detail making it a joy to look at.

My only criticism is that some of the cut scenes are a bit long and sometimes drag but this is a minor detail. Other than that the game is excellent, fun, enjoyable and very addictive.

Thoroughly enjoyable and value for money.
