Bargain Hunting the Latest Deals
Written by Debbie Talbot
I recently moved into a new privately rented flat, so the last 2-3 weeks have been taken up hunting for bargains to kit it out on a very limited budget. I thought I would share with you some of the ways I found bargains.
Amazon Black Friday & Warehouse Deals
I managed to find the Amazon Fire 7″ tablets at £29.99 rather than the usual £49.99. That was a significant £20 saving. The price has since gone back up to £49.99. My home cordless phone cost a bargain £6 pounds as an Amazon Warehouse Deal, a 50% saving on the cheapest price I had found.
Latest Deals website
Whilst I have exhausted my budget, at least for the next couple of weeks, I was delighted to find some great deals on cheap microwaves. One of the microwaves available at the time of writing this post had a 43% saving. I will be checking out this website when I do come to buy my new microwave in a couple of weeks time. Latest Deals is a community of bargain hunters. The way it works is people find and share deals with each other.
Retailer sales
I managed to buy several huge canvas prints from Argos at a 50%+ discount. One alphabet canvas cost me just £2.50 and a house rules one for my living room for under £5.
Pound Stores
I picked up a quality torch in Poundland yesterday for just £1 and a pack of 2D batteries for £1 too.
eBay
I picked up 2 single beds on eBay for £170, a saving of around £50 on quotes obtained locally where I live.
Bargains are there to be found, both out on the high street and online and they are not that hard to find if you are prepared to look.
